After careful consideration of the current global environment and with the health and well-being of the workforce in mind, DLA Energy has decided to postpone the 2022 Worldwide Energy Conference (WWEC), scheduled for March 28-30, at the Gaylord National Hotel.

Health protection conditions at Fort Belvoir/DLA is currently at level 3 (of 5), which is a substantial level with sustained community transmission, and some bases are operating under level 4, which means the area is experiencing severe, widespread community transmission. So, while the decision to postpone the conference was difficult to make, we are confident that hosting a large in-person event would not be the right thing to do at this time.

 

The Event Team along with DLA Leadership will continue to monitor the situation to determine if the event can be held at a later date. We will keep you apprised as plans proceed. You may also visit this website for the latest updates and information.
