GENERAL
What is the Worldwide Energy Conference?
The DLA Energy Worldwide Energy Conference highlights the importance of partnerships across the entire spectrum of the energy supply chain and provides a forum for energy industry leaders to engage in dialogue about issues critical to both industry and consumers. This is a unique opportunity for Department of Defense employees (from military service members, contractors and leaders) to meet with top industry experts to discuss current trends and initiatives in the petroleum, alternative fuel and renewable energy fields.
Who attends?
The Worldwide Energy Conference is open to active duty military, government, and industry who are interested in learning about products, technologies and services in the energy field. The Worldwide Energy Conference is not open to the public.
Where is the Worldwide Energy Conference held?
The 2024 DLA Energy Worldwide Energy Conference will take place at the Gaylord National Convention Center, located at 201 Waterfront Street, National Harbor, MD 20745.

How much does it cost to attend the Worldwide Energy Conference?
Please check back for 2026 registration rates.
Note: All guests must register and pay the associated fees to attend. Spouses, friends, peers, etc. will not be granted access to the event without a badge. All attendees must be 18 years of age or older.
What is the cancellation policy?
There are no refunds for this event. Paid registrants who fail to send a substitute or do not attend forfeit their entire registration fee.
Are meals included in my conference registration?
Meals are not included in the registration fees. There will be cocktails and hors d’oeuvres available during the Opening Night reception in the exhibit hall.
Can I share my badge with another attendee or exhibitor?
Attendees and exhibitors may NOT exchange, give, trade, or sell their Worldwide Energy Conference badge to anyone. Anyone found in violation of this policy will be immediately removed from the convention center and no refund for registration fees paid will be provided.
What forms of ID are required to pick up my badge?
Attendees must display an official 2024 DLA Energy Worldwide Energy Conference badge at all times. No badges will be mailed in advance. To pick up a badge, attendees must present a government-issued photo ID at registration. Acceptable forms of ID include a driver’s license, military or government ID, or a passport.

Do you offer discounted hotel rooms for Worldwide Energy Conference participants?
Yes, discounted hotel rooms will be made available to participants. Please check back this winter for more information.

Are there networking events I can attend?
Connections are made all throughout the Worldwide Energy Conference—in sessions, receptions, lunches, and the exhibit hall—you never know who you’ll meet next! Make plans to join us for the Trade Show Opening Reception in the Exhibit Hall.
Are children allowed to come to the conference?
No one under the age of 18 will be admitted in the exhibit hall or in classrooms.

How can I reserve a booth?
In order to exhibit at the Worldwide Energy Conference, you must first submit an application. You'll receive an exhibiting contract and booth assignment once you’re approved by DLA Energy.
How do I register my booth staff?
To register booth personnel, you will need to log in to your Exhibitor Dashboard. Please check back this winter for more information.
